Meet Our Optometrist
When not at home base Dr. Patterson can be found providing eye care to underserved communities as far away as Nunavut.
Chad Patterson, O.D.
Dr. Chad Patterson grew up just north of Regina and attended the University of Regina before heading off to the University of Waterloo where he graduated from the School of Optometry on the Dean’s Honour list. During his studies, he gained knowledge and experience in ocular pathology working with retina, glaucoma, and cornea specialists in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Patterson also had the opportunity to work with National athletes at the Winsport medical clinic in Calgary performing baseline concussion testing.
Upon graduation, he moved to Manitoba where he practised in a Vision Therapy clinic. Dr. Patterson has taken additional courses in Vision Therapy and takes a special interest in brain injury rehabilitation and learning related vision disorders.
